Question 1

What can I store with RentMint?

Accepted Answer

Things you own but rarely use: cameras, drones, guitars, suitcases, consoles, tools, sports and camping gear. Not sure about something? Send a photo on WhatsApp and we'll tell you. We can't take anything illegal, hazardous, perishable or living.

Question 2

How do you keep my things safe?

Accepted Answer

Every item is photographed when we collect it, tagged with its own QR code, and sealed. We also keep a record of where it is. We don't offer insurance cover yet, so please don't store anything irreplaceable.

Question 3

How does pickup work?

Accepted Answer

Message us on WhatsApp with what you have and your area. We confirm the details, collect your items, photograph, tag and seal them, and take them to Navi Mumbai on our scheduled run (about every 2 weeks).

Question 4

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Per item, per month: Small ₹99, Medium ₹199, Large ₹349. No lock-in. Play Mint Stack to unlock 15% to 30% off all your quotes. Pickup and return charges, if any, are confirmed on WhatsApp before we collect.

Question 5

What are the three phases?

Accepted Answer

Phase 1 is Store, and it's live now. Phase 2 is Earn: with your OK we start renting out what you've stored and you earn a share. Phase 3 is Rent: renting opens up so anyone can rent anything for as long as they want.

Question 6

How will I earn from my stuff?

Accepted Answer

When Phase 2 opens, with your say-so we'll list your stored items for rent and you earn a share of each rental. We'll share the exact details before anything of yours is listed, and nothing is listed without your consent.

Whoever is #1 on the leaderboard when the competition ends wins 1 year of free storage. Your best level counts, and we confirm each reward on WhatsApp after checking the live leaderboard.

Question 8

Can I get my things back?

Accepted Answer
